It’s the best time to visit Trick or Thrills at Universal Studios Singapore this Halloween because the monsters come can’t near you… erm, cos #socialdistancing 😅😅😅

And yes, Halloween Horror Nights returns to USS too!!! Well, sort of. After going on a break last year, #HHN comes back in an exhibition format where visitors gets to go behind the scenes and learn what goes into the making of the biggest Halloween event in Southeast Asia.

So no need to worry creepy-scares or jump-shocks because there are only frightening icons & scary props to view… which probably explains why Ale was game enough to enter! 😆 Some parts were still scary for her though, but we all made it through!!!

Want to make your admission ticket more worthwhile? Visit on Fridays or Saturdays because that’s when USS closes at 10pm. You’ll get to venture into Universal Monsters Scream Alley after dark where Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula and the Wolfman, lie in wait. Nothing too terrifying and good for selfies. 😁

As for the little ones, there are Halloween Character Meet & Greets… along with hunting for treats where kids can pick up candy treats!

Happy 7 months old, dear baby Ansel! ❤

Today, you turn seven months old and you flashed your wide, toothless grin at me, like how you do umpteen times every day, when I took a photo of you.

It's been a month of gastronomic adventure and discovery with you in the past month. Let's see, your favourite food for now includes avocado, banana, pear and pumpkin but you've also tried potato, carrot, blueberries, apple, fish, chicken, sweet potato, brown rice, cereal and more! That's not bad for your introductory month of having solids, right? Although it makes me more exhausted having to cook your meals separately from ours daily, that bright smile of yours makes it all worthwhile.

You are also getting good at sitting down on your own though you tend to lose balance and fall over after some time. Haha. Like the previous months, you have been drooling and munching on your fingers incessantly but you have yet to cut your first tooth, so let's just wait patiently for now yeah.

Your sisters say you are very chubby and I think so too, you might just be the chubbiest one of the lot. It is a heartening thing to know because, like me, you are a preemie but I am relieved to see that you are gaining weight steadily. We love seeing your baby rolls and oh, you are easily tickled and will laugh and laugh when it happens.

We went for your vaccinations earlier this month and you were totally a trooper - your cries lasted merely 1 or 2 seconds despite having a jab on each thigh. That said, I think it's because I was there to comfort you and for now, judging by how you reach out for me or whine whenever I walk away, there is no doubt that you love me deep deep.

But you know what? That is not even a fraction of how much I love you. I can't even describe it but you are my world, or rather, our world because your siblings love you to the moon and back too.

Thank you for being a ray of sunshine in our lives and cheering us up every single day - something which we truly need during these gloomy times. Looking forward to more happy days stuck with you 24/7, my darling boy! ❤

For this video, we went down to Xperience Restaurant at SO/ Sofitel Singapore to complete their Mother of All Brunches tower! We invited a lucky fan over, Snowclock (@snowclock on IG) to tackle the Mother of All Brunches tower with Zermatt. Xperience Restaurant is a chic eatery that offers enormous 3-tiered towers and platters for brunch every Saturday with a regularly changing menu. We also have a giveaway and a discount code, details below.

For this challenge, we got their biggest tower, the Mother of All Towers ($268++), and free-flow Gin and Brut ($68++ per person). The tower came beautifully presented in three majestic tiers, with dessert on the highest, protein in the middle and charcuterie-lite on the bottom tier. As advertised, it was formidable and could easily feed 4-5 people with a broad variety of food, ranging from steak to pancakes. The alcohol comes in the form a cart wheeled by the bartender and he crafts it right in front of you based on your preference (or let the bartender decide).

According to the staff, this tower has yet to be completed by 2 people. With Zermatt’s hurting teeth, Snowclock stepped up to the challenge and made it look easy. This makes them possibly the first pair to finish the Mother of All Towers. It is a worthwhile experience at Xperience’s Mother of All Brunches for a large sharing feast, with aesthetic yet delicious food and alcohol to bump up the pleasure.
