#homemade Fluffy marble bread 💜🍠🍞This Purple Sweet Potato Sandwich Loaf is so light; almost like a cloud! I used purple sweet potato powder to make it light purple and pretty! My loaf pan is 8”x4.24”x4.75” Sponge starter: - 160g bread flour - 1g salt - 1g instant yeast - 90g water Knead all the sponge’s ingredients until well mixed. Cover sponge in bowl with plastic wrap, leave at room temp for 1 hour to jumpstart the fermentation and then in the fridge for 12 hours. Main Dough: - All the sponge starter (tear or cut into smaller pieces) - 100g bread flour - 4g salt - 30g sugar - 15g condensed milk - 85g milk - 15g heavy whipping cream - 15g butter - 2g yeast - 2tbsp purple sweet potato powder Steps: 1. Knead all the ingredients except butter by mixer for about 5-7 minutes until the dough pulls away cleanly from the sides, then add the butter and mix until the dough is very supple and reaches the windowpane stage. 2. Transfer to a clean bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Place in a warm spot and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. 3. Once risen, divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Put one part back to mixer, add in purple sweet potato powder and a little bit water, knead to combine.  4. Roll each dough into a rectangle (width should be the same as your loaf pan) Lay the purple dough on top of the plain dough. 5. Using a rolling pin, gently roll out the dough to combine them well. 6. Cut dough into 6 equal stripes (but leave one end uncut), twist each rope and shape them together. Fold ends under so that the bread fits the pan. Cover the pan with a wet cloth and let proof until dough reaches the rim. 7.
