Let me tell you a story... . Honestly masa mula2 I was approached by an old friend of mine, I was reluctant to go for this. I sedar diri you alls. Dengan income deduction due to #covid_19 and my outflows weightage. Banyak I kena fikir. I kena dulukan yang mana perlu dulu. . But this friend of mine - she kept on asking me to give it a try. And I told her... I tak mampooo. I was even laughed at about this. Tapi I know I tak mampooo. . Again because I sedar diri. But she said she will let me try this. I thankful sebab I ada kawan yang baik macam dia. . So... Today I dapat this starter kit... Terus I sental dinding bilik air yang dah lama macam gambar before yang you nampak ni dengan #norwexenviro cloth. Lap dan sental ya. Air dan kain. Honestly it will take an effort to sental bukan lap manja2. Lap manja2 hilang jugak tapi taklah totally clean. You still need to put momentum on it. Sampai keluar peluh jantan I ok? 🤣. . Tapi I am amazed laaa... Sebab dah lama sebenarnya I nak bersihkan dinding bilik air ni dari I pindah dulu. It was there since I mula2 masuk rumah ni. Macam2 I dah cuba tapi the effort tu memang boleh sakit belikat. Hilangnya tak menghilangkan those kuning sepenuhnya. Tak puas hati betul! Sebab tak totally bersih. But now I'm satisfied. Alhamdulillah. . To me it does wonders la. Less effort jer lah. Taklah sampai belikat sakit. I tak nak overclaim tapi it does what it need to do. There is too much weightage placed on visions and too little on character when at the end of the day it is our character that tells a greater story - @kevric7 👨🏻 - In order to be better, you need to accept your flaws and work on it. 💪🏼 - A reminder to myself to focus on building my character. That initial nervousness of painting/writing on the FIRST page of your new book! Can you relate?? 😅 I wanted to make this a fun and experimental first piece so that I would feel more comfortable painting it. ✨ How I feel about @mosseryco’s watercolour sketchbook; • The sheets are cold-pressed, which is exactly the kind of watercolour paper I default to using. Howevaaaaaa I would’ve liked it to have more grain, but this is just personal preference. :) I love how watercolour looks on really rough grain paper!! • Colours blend nicely here compared to on their mixed media sketchbook paper, which is expected as this is specifically for watercolour usage. :) • 300gsm! My go-to grammage/weightage as I love to SPLASH MANY WATER ON MY PAPER. 🤣 Hahahaha I just like thick paper because it feels sturdier. :) ✨ Try it out yourself!
