When I pray in tongues, I receive revelations, prophetic words, and visions. Sometimes also words of knowledge for fellow believers who need healing or are struggling with an area in their life.

Praying with the understanding can become difficult and tiring as the mind struggles to find words to pray.

However, with praying in tongues, the utterances supplied by the Holy Spirit just roll off the tongue.

I can even pray in tongues while reading a book or doing my other types of work, proving that it’s not gibberish fabricated by the mind, but rather it’s from the Spirit in your spirit, so the mind does not have to be activated for it.

In my opinion, praying in tongues is the prayer of perfect faith because you have to trust that you are praying for the right things according to God’s will since you cannot understand what you’re saying.

You must have full trust in God, that whatever you are saying will work for your good, and not produce an outcome that you dislike or dread.

This inability to understand what you’re saying in tongues works for your good. Your mind cannot doubt what it does not understand.

If we knew what we were saying in tongues, many of us would be scared and not leave home. If the words were intelligible, the devil would be able to form some kind of counterattack to stop God’s plans.

I am glad that through tongues we can pray without understanding what we are saying. This way, we can cooperate with God to speak His will to pass.

Keep this life-giving river flowing by muttering in tongues under your breath throughout the day. This is how you can pray and give thanks to God at all times in a restful and easy way.

No devil, man, nor our own unbelief can hinder the good things that are coming as a result of praying the pure words of God!

“Perfect Prayer”

When I am lost for words
And don’t know how to pray
I can speak in tongues all day
This is the rest and refreshing.

“Holy Spirit, help me,” I say
“What now, I can’t see a way
Out of this mess
A terrible state”
“Hold on”, He says
“Don’t panic, just wait.”

“I will give you My words
A perfect prayer
Here it is
Born of love and care
Speak them forth
Let My power flow
Surely it knows where to go.”

“The night has ended
The victory won
That pain you felt
Is now long gone
I turned it around
Look and see
Restoration has come nigh to thee!”

Blessed National Day to my homeland, Singapore! This poem is dedicated to you on your 56th birthday.

In a tough time, we must stay united like our pledge says, “one united people. Regardless of race, language, or religion…”

Pray for our nation, that all who are going through difficult times will experience God’s great restoration. Even if you made foolish mistakes, God is still willing and able to restore you.

Pray in tongues if you can. The Holy Spirit will give you utterances which are perfect prayers offered at the right time. Let Him use your tongue to bring forth healing, strengthening, and comfort to all who need it.

Possess God’s Peace

“Until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is considered a forest. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness will remain in the fruitful field. The work of righteousness will be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.” (Isaiah‬ ‭32:15-17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

This prophecy declared by the prophet Isaiah is in the process of partial fulfillment. The Spirit has been poured out on us from on high ever since the Day of Pentecost when Jesus first sent His Spirit to baptize the disciples in Jerusalem.

The wilderness represents Israel which has become a fruitful field (the place where salvation starts spreading from), and will eventually become full of life as a forest, during the future Millennial reign of Christ.

Through Jesus’ work of righteousness at the cross, we already have peace with God.

Since we have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, we have an everlasting quietness and confidence in our spirit.

There is no need to struggle or strive to justify ourselves before God or anyone else. We know that the payment has been completed and that God has fully accepted us.

Born-again believers ought to be the most peaceful and quietly-confident people on earth, exuding the kind of regality that Jesus has. This confidence comes from knowing that you are God’s child, lacking nothing and having everything.

This shalom is your portion. Possess this inheritance that the world cannot give. No amount of pills, therapy, or chemicals can produce the peace that is freely ours in Christ.

Today, declare and believe: “I am full of shalom peace, for I was re-created in the image of the Prince of Peace. I possess the peace of God right now, and allow it to flood my soul, body, and life; setting everything right, perfectly integrated with nothing lacking or missing. I receive this in Jesus’ name, Amen!”
