凱蒂食記：forchetta：在朋友的婚禮中，很幸運的認識了forchetta的主廚Max。Max很懂得旅遊及美食，於是他常常會做出令人驚喜的獨特料理。例如第一道前菜就是他從秘魯回來後的發想，新鮮的海鱺生魚片佐Max特製泡泡。Max的另一個強項就是找到最優質的台灣本地食材，這反應到當天的透抽清湯以及每人吃完都驚歎不已的胭脂蝦。連平常不愛吃蝦腦的朋友都把蝦頭吸的一乾二淨！海味結束後，第一個歡迎我們的是油脂不多但肉質結實的鴨胸肉。美麗的擺盤，搭配上我愛的新鮮無花果以及雕刻成玫瑰花一般的青江菜。為當晚劃下完美的尾聲的則是肉質鮮嫩多汁的小羔羊。羊味不多不少，剛剛好！Katherine's food dairy: forchetta: it was my pleasure to know Max at a friends wedding. Not only is he the chef at forchetta, he's also a well traveled foodie! You could tell which country he last been by tasting his dishes because he blends in his traveling experience into his cuisine. For example, our appetizer was his creation of fish carpaccio with Peruvian sauce. His other talent was to find the best local ingredients which totally reflected on clear seafood broth with cooked squid and the best shrimp I've tasted in years! Even friends that rarely eats shrimp paste couldn't help but suck every juice of its head! After completing our surf side, we turfed from duck to lamb. The lamb was extremely tender and flavorful accompanied by my favorite baby sweet corn! I can't even count the times I've been to forchetta but every time I go, it's always been a pleasant visit!
