One of the main concerns from the protesting farmers is that the bills does not mention anything about minimum support prices?(msp) ,which is basically a government safety net on prices.
The worry is that if MSPs are dropped, large corporations could set prices that would put farmers into further disadvantage. Farmers are the food of each and every nation. It will be good for a country to grant the demands of the farmers. In India: Punjab is often referred as the breadbasket of India. The main occupation of punjabi's are agriculture. The majority people living in Punjab are Sikhs with turbans, for over 500 year Sikhism serves meals free of charge to all visitors worldwide especially in (Gurdwaras)Temples without making a distinction of religion, caste, gender, economic status or ethnicity. Sikh “langar” meal is intended to bring people together. Sikhism philosophy is to protect the weak and serve the unfortunate!
