一樣不免俗地來個言簡意賅劇情介紹：
一對戀人由相見、交往、步入禮堂結婚，然後分手。小說家男主角Jamie正於事業開端，他的太太Cathy是面臨事業拉扯的女演員。Jamie從最初的深情浪漫順著時間走到最後的心酸無奈，Cathy從結局的心痛苦澀倒帶走回開始的甜蜜堅定。當傑米向凱西求婚時，他們的人生開始交錯…
