Reposted from @khaanyounot Oh how privileged we are to take a break from social media whenever all of this becomes too overwhelming. I can only imagine the pain and fear of those who are LIVING through all of this right now. I wish they, too, could escape from reality as easily as we can. Words cannot describe how much anger and pain I have in my heart. I will never understand how some people can be so evil in this world. I was praying taraweeh the other night and I couldn’t concentrate at all. My mind kept thinking about the Palestinian Muslims. I can’t believe they were strong enough to continue praying while people were being attacked in the back. If there’s anything I learned this week, it’s the fact that the Palestinian people’s faith is stronger than anything. I will forever admire their strength and trust in God. Dear God, please protect everyone in occupied Palestine. Dear God, please protect those who are risking their life to speak up & raise awareness. Dear God, please guide all the evil people in this world and give them a brain because clearly they don’t have one right now. Ramadan ผ่านมาครึ่งทางแล้ว! . . We're halfway through the month of Ramadan already! 😱 . I'm grateful to be healthy enough to fast everyday and strong enough to pray Taraweeh every night. This year is the second year that we fast while complying with the new normal rules. While I like staying at home, I am still sad that we don't get to enjoy Iftar and Taraweeh at different places with different people anymore. Ramadan used to be the month we "congregate" not "separate" from each other 😥 . Let's pray for the situation to get better soon 🤲 Ameen 📷 by @inspirationofahijabi
