It's a S.A.D. (Sunday Adventure Date) day again yesterday because one monkie still has exams. So the wifey and I did what all good parents will do - leave the house so that the kids can study in peace. 😂

So for our weekly nature hike, we decided on the Pipeline Trail. It is named as such as the trail traces the water pipelines that stretch from Bt Timah all the way to Woodlands, and to JB. The total route is about 12km and while the water pipes are mostly underground, there are 5 exposed sections along the trail where you can literally walk on them. So fun!

We started our hike at Rifle Range Road and made our way north. We stopped at Zhenghua Park because by the time we got there, it was getting hot and we had to head home to revise with Ale 😅. But we'll definitely complete it! Along the way, we saw 2 sections of waterpipes so I suppose there are another 3 beyond Zhenghua.

The trail is pretty linear with slight elevations but nothing too tough so I think it's something that's doable even for kids. It's definitely less crowded than the usual nature parks and the scenery was gorgeous!

Our entry point was from Dunearn Road. Walk past Temasek Club and come to the T-junction of Rifle.Range Road & Jalan Kampung Chantek. Cross over the metal barrier onto the grass patch and you can see the trail markings (map at 9th photo). I have also included our walking map in the last photo. Hope it helps! ☺️

Little brother from Lach market, Ben Tre with his mother sells durian near Ton That Thiet and T-junction junction (Ton 4) which is bought by many people. My brother said that the durian I sell is a ripe tree, so a batch will have unripe and uneven ripened fruits.

Price per kilogram of durian is 65,000 dong and thicker shell 2 is 50,000 dong. Durian rice is delicious, so many people buy it.
