Every time I prepare gift for my skaters after the competition, I know competition is very realistic, only 3 medalist, but everyone worked very hard. So my gift is to honour their hard work. I hope to let the kids know they didn’t get a medal doesn’t mean they were worse. I hope they won’t value themselves on their successfulness, no need to identify their own value over somebody else.
