It was a magickal night - a beautiful, ridiculous, and hilarious night. I was reminded of just how much our souls need whimsy, magic, friendship, and a dash of OTT extravagance to glow. ✨ We dressed up as forest fae, valkyries, rangers, and sentinels. We feasted on roast minotaur, elven waybread, and deep fried griffin. We laughed till we snorted and took photos galore. We slew beasties to tavern music and kicked butt along the way. So this is just your little reminder that if your soul is tired like mine is, never underestimate the simple things: good friends for the ride, hearty fare, music, silliness, and a good dose of imagination and magick. 🎶 Who's my next dinner date? 💗💫 Costumes mandatory - what are you coming as? 🪄

During pregnancy I knew postpartum would be some work but I didn’t expect it to be so intense of a journey it’s been thus far. It was hard when friends who gave birth at a similar time were bouncing back so quickly & I still looked 3/4 months pregnant. It was even harder with Instagram bombarding me with a slew of bounce back photos I constantly compared myself to. The majority of my young teens to mid twenties was spent scrutinizing my body, weight & looks. Having nothing but a Diet Coke for a day or eating everything in sight & puking it all back out. My fresh postpartum body was quite triggering & I often thought of starving myself so I could lose weight faster. But breastfeeding was a real blessing. It forced me to eat so Dallas could eat. I had to put my personal issues with my body aside & think of Dallas’s health & wellbeing instead. Now at 10 months honestly… I’m feelin myself 😜 I’ve totally got MILF vibes right?! Yea I’m a little heavier & curvier but I think this is a way better look on me. My pre baby body in all honesty was unrealistic & not sustainable. Teaching 15 classes a week made my meal times erratic & never large enough to fill me up because I didn’t like teaching/practicing on a full stomach. But now with Dallas eating 3 meals a day - so do I. I don’t want him growing up with a Mum with eating issues like I did (sorry Mum). I want him to have a healthy relationship with food & his body & some might think that’s weird cause he’s a boy but… I’ve yet to meet a male who also doesn’t have some issue with his appearance & food! Food & body relationship issues are genderless. Anyways. I’m just really proud that I never gave in to throwing food up or starving myself. I unfollowed everyone on IG for a while so I would stop seeing anything that would trigger a bad cycle & I’m so proud of that too. Although pregnancy & postpartum almost broke me in some ways. (s o m u c h c r y i n g) Honestly it’s the best thing that’s happened to me. Forced me to find a way to love myself for who I am and… I love that. I’m so much better and stronger for it today. #postpartum #motherhood

These two live everyday like it’s Pretzel Day 🥨 Celebrating @Auntieannesg 25th Birthday 🎂 took me down the memory lane where my Dad used to bring me to its first stall at Parkway Parade👨‍👧 Since its launch in 1996, this outlet is still operating and delivering their signature warm and buttery soft pretzels 💪🏼 Elma and Maesa definitely takes after my love for it 😋😋 and are so excited to celebrating this special milestone with a slew of activities this August and September, including new limited-time flavours and a Soft Pretzels Baking Workshop ❤️
