#'89年にシステムサコムが発売した、オリジナル版となる68用ノベルウェアのシリーズ第5弾。
西暦2049年の人口増加の一途をたどる地球が、スペースコロニーへ殖民計画を始めようとするが、その裏に隠されたものとは…。

純然たるノヴェルウェアであり、尚且敷居の低い難易度でストーリーに重きを置く作品だが、単純なSFに留まらず政治や世論の動きが浮き彫りになってくる等、骨太な設定に集中させられる。
後のサウンドノベルゲーム等の祖とも言える作品。

BGMは斎藤氏と、銀河英雄伝説(SFC/'92年)等の染谷氏による共同作曲で、日本の市販ソフトで初めてMIDIを利用した作品としても知られる。
opm楽曲はfm8音+adpcmの構成で、ジャズを基調にしており、作品世界に見事な調和を生み出し、臨場感を与えてくれる。

人口増加を辿った人類は、2049年に宇宙殖民計画としてスペースコロニーの建造を行った。
相場謙は、同僚のドワイトとステファンと共にそのオープニングセレモニーの取材の為にかけつけたONN社の社会部記者。プレイヤーは所々で行動の選択を迫られ、反対派、賛成派など、移住を巡った様々な現実を感じながら、ある事件にたどり着く。

BGMは斎藤氏が編曲、opnでもジャズや落ち着いたムードの楽曲で構成、ドラマチックな展開を引き立たせる。
