Lancôme x Chiara Ferragni Brand the fashion flirty palette ! Finally we get to this post introducing the palette!

Let’s talk about cheek shades first! The shades that can highlight on my skin tone is dazzling photocall and light it up. (My skin tone is about Nars light 3.5.) Flashy’s undertone is too dark for me, it’s much more like an orange blush with some shimmers on top. The bronzer has reddish undertone which suits darker skin tone more, and can be use as a transition shade on eyes. All dressed up is just like #narsorgasm.

For eyeshadows, the one I love the most is copper style. It looks so high end on eyes! Fitting rose has less color payoff, it’s more like a topper. All the matte shades are super easy to blend! The black shade especially! It’s the most smooth black I’ve ever seen! The dark shades stick to skin a bit after removing makeup. There are some fallouts, but I think it’s acceptable for chunky glitters:)

終於來到介紹這盤的貼文啦！（歡呼）

它整盤原本的配置跟我後來使用的方式有些差異！先來說說頰彩的部分～在我的膚色上（nars light 3.5) 能作為打亮的是最左邊的金色 dazzling photocall 和第一格打亮light it up（粉紫色），第二格打亮 flashy 的底色對我來說太重，比較像橘色腮紅然後自帶一點打亮效果～修容那個比較屬於偏暖的古銅色！沒有陰影瘦臉效果，但適合當眼窩打底色！腮紅all dressed up 是像nars 高潮一樣的人魚姬顏色～

眼影色中我最喜歡的是copper style ，是一個高級的顏色！其中 fitting rose 的發色度比較低，比較像topper！霧面眼影暈染力都非常好～尤其是那個黑色是我見過最滑順的霧面黑色了！超讚！深色會染色在皮膚上一些。落粉問題是有的！但因為是大亮片所以算可預期的😂

裡面的刷具是纖維毛，都偏硬但不扎膚，眼影刷堪用！雙頭筆鬆的那頭很好取粉跟暈染，另一頭比較沒用。細的筆很適合取亮片色！若用內附刷具沾取都有飛粉的問題～不過粉壓的是適中的，用自己的刷具就不會有那麼多落粉/飛粉了～

English Transcript :

Count your steps from Mong Kok and walk towards Prince Edward along Tung Choi Street… Hong Kong’s landmark Goldfish Street is just by your side.

Standing in the middle of the street, parallel tenement buildings with around six stories high are of your eyesight. The district has been escaping from reconstruction, and it has been one of the best old portraits of the city. You will see upper parts of the tenement buildings as homes for families, while numerous vendors gathered big and small aquariums on the street starting from 1970s.

It is not a must to visit a particular store, yet you shall just get yourself ready to wander slowly for the journey. Plastic bags in different sizes are sealed and filled with water, they are hanging on door frames to attract attention, colourful and energetic creatures are found in these mini aquariums. Trucks arrive and stop by, workers drop off goods while vendors peddle their wares… This is how the city shimmers and gets alive.

Recently, a well-groomed man has been visiting the street from time to time. He is always in suit, holding a briefcase on one hand, and carrying a cigarette on the other hand. Whenever he visits, he looks into the water through the glass. He stands and thinks deeply for hours, yet he never takes anything home.

I have been wondering what is in his mind. Is he struggling about raising a goldfish or not? Is he considering which goldfish shall he purchase? When this comes into my mind today, he is right here again in front of the store.

“Sir… If this is your first time to keep a fish, I think this Koi is suitable for you...”

Perhaps my words are out of his expectations, he seems to be a bit surprised for a stranger trying to start a dialogue.

He takes away his cigarette, and breathes deeply along the mist. He says it has been a while to keep a fish again, he wonders whether more troubles will come if owning a goldfish.

“It is easy! Goldfish have a short memory of only three seconds time, no matter good or bad, they would not be able to recall. Perhaps when seeing them freely floating in the water, your worries and troubles will fade along the wave.”

All in a sudden, he is seemingly relieved. He then picked one goldfish among the million. At the end of the day, he left the store with a grin on the face.

The long awaited Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Collection is here! I am so grateful to have received them in PR - I wasn't aware I was going to get them sent to me so I busted out crying when I opened the PR box. ? I swatched all 10 colours on my cheeks and lips, discuss pricing, packaging, formula, application and more!


Things omitted in the video as I didn't want it to be too long :
- Some of these have shimmer and some are matte but they all give the same nice glowy finish. So to be honest, I don't see much difference on the skin, the shimmers have a sliiiiiiight more glow but again, doesn't make a huge difference to me.

- You can set the blushes down with some translucent powder but I personally don't like to as it 1. takes away the glow and 2. it dulls down the colours a little.

- I like them all but if I had to pick top colours (I based this on what I'd wear often) they'd be 04 Crush On Cupid, 06 Daiquiri Dip, 08 Summertime Wine.

超級高興我在 NYX FACE Awards TAIWAN 2019 中進入15強✨
這是我第一次參加化妝比賽 超興奮的～

第二階段的主題是" PRIDEFUL LOVE " 🌈
我看到這到這個主題時有很多想法
最後我決定以這個妝來呈現這個主題～

這個妝分成兩種風格
黑白 和 彩虹

黑白的部分我想呈現出
復古、古板、憂傷、悲劇演員的感覺
來詮釋出
無法自由、被社會的傳統觀念拘束


而彩色的部分 我的概念是" Rainbow shadow "
每個人的內心都有美麗的靈魂
但因為被社會的傳統思想打壓，無法釋放自我

所以我把彩虹的區塊
畫成像是陽光照射出來的陰影面
利用暈染，還有雲朵、閃粉
來呈現出自由、繽紛夢幻的感覺

I’m so glad that I got in top 15 of 2019 NYX Face Awards
This is my first time ever being in a makeup competition, so I’m super pumped up

The 2nd stage of this competition is about “Prideful Love”
When the designated topic first released, a lot of ideas came to my mind
but I’ve decided to go with this look to interpret “Prideful Love”

This look can be divided in two parts
Black-N-White & Rainbow colors

For the Black-N-White side of my face
You could feel the old-school, old-fashioned expression of sadness, almost tragedy-like feelings
represent the repression and the obedience under traditional values

Using only black and white
to shape out the structure, color block and to blend them in seamlessly

I use body paint as base
to achieve the saturation, you have to color it over and over again and set them into places

When it comes to blending the color black
you must be gentle and do it in patience
or it will get messy real soon

You could use a light-brown color to map out the outline
then use black to line the structure
to prevent irrevocable mistake

For the colorful side
My idea is Rainbow shadow
Underneath the skin, we all have beautiful souls trying to break free
from stereotypes or antiquated mindsets

So I color the supposedly shadow part of my face in rainbow
with ombré colors, clouds and shimmers
I’d like to express the feeling of freedom and prideful

NYX ultimate shadow palette is the product used to complete the eye look
Starting from the outer corner to my inner corner then to the lower lash line
I use Pink Orange Yellow Green Blue Purple
and I use different shades from the same color scheme to achieve the ombré effect
Then use a white concealer to paint the clouds
and clean out the edges with a Q-tip
set it with white shadow
and lastly use a white liner to enhance the outline

I also use light-brown to sketch out the premises of the shadow on my face
then I repeat the process to blend the colors and draw the clouds

For the finishing touchup
I spray on some glitters, pop on a pair of lashes, put on black lipstick and some highlight
then call it a day
This is my final look
