    This video was taken 3 years ago when Fatimah got a card from her schoolmate - Gabriel. As soon as she opened the envelope, she spotted one chocolate coin! As usual, we encouraged her to make her own decision on what she wanted to do with it as there was only one chocolate coin. She paused for a long time, deep in thought. She then replied, “I think I will share it with Ali because he’s my brother and I love him so much!” We praised her thoughtful decision. We then asked Ali what he would do if he had a chocolate coin. He pinky-promised that he would share it with Fatimah too...and he did - bless him! 🥰

    Decision-making is CRUCIAL for children in order to boost their confidence levels, give them a feeling of responsibility, increase self-satisfaction and they’ll also be able to discover who they are as a person. As parents, we should encourage our children to make good decisions from a young age because as human beings, we make between 3,000-35,000 decisions a day! Yep, 35,000 decisions. 😅

    If children are not taught how to make the right decisions, then they will end up making many bad decisions throughout their life. It is our job as parents to rightly guide our kids to make decisions from an early stage of life. Of course, we are the parents, and our decisions should be respected, but give the kids a chance to decide certain things throughout the day to ensure a good future for them - InshaAllah ♥️
