ลุคอยากให้น้องเดลรักธรรมชาติตั้งแต่เด็ก เหมือนกับที่พ่อของลุคเคยสอนลุคมาด้วยครับ

美國作曲家約翰．曼德爾（Johnny Mandel）辭世，享耆壽94歲。他的代表作包括《外科醫生 M*A*S*H》（1970）、《無為而治 Being There》（1979）、《大審判 The Verdict》（1982）等作。其職業生涯曾兩度提名奧斯卡最佳原創歌曲獎，首次入圍便以《春風無限恨 The Sandpiper》 （1965）的插曲"The Shadow of Your Smile"獲獎，並曾獲得六座葛萊美獎殊榮。

約翰．曼德爾出生於紐約曼哈頓，父親是成衣製造商，母親則曾嚮往成為一名歌劇歌手。在他五歲時，母親發現他擁有絕對音感，遂開始栽培他學習音樂，先從鋼琴起步，後來又培養他學習小號與長號。曼德爾曾進入曼哈頓音樂學院與茱莉亞音樂學院就學，在四〇年代末期就開始嘗試編曲，並為許多名家伴奏。

在五〇年代開始，曼德爾便受邀進入電影圈進行電影配樂作曲，早期的事業高峰是在1966年與1967年以《春風無限恨》 和《An American Dream》提名奧斯卡最佳原創歌曲獎。1970年轟動全美的戰爭喜劇片《外科醫生》也找上他主導配樂，更使之奠定影壇地位，該作的電視劇版也繼續由其操刀作曲。

當時《外科醫生》的導演勞勃．阿特曼（Robert Altman）請曼德爾寫一首「有史以來最蠢的歌曲」，意在搭配作品的調性。但最後導演卻選擇將一首並不重要的插曲改為開場曲，而這首插曲偏偏又是柔和的抒情歌。曼德爾得知後大驚失色，千方百計想阻撓導演。他認為這首歌放在戰地直升機飛過的場面，是完全不合宜。

不過電影公司並未理會他的請求，後來該曲大獲好評，甚至登上排行榜，反而讓曼德爾大賺了一筆，成為他職業生涯寫過最重要的一首曲子。雖然他也許始終不認為這首歌不該放在那個位置，但他在晚年時受訪時曾鬆口說：「我開心我輸了這場戰爭。」

在其職業生涯晚期，最重要的作品莫過於與麥可．傑克森（Michael Jackson）一同為電影《威鯨闖天關 Free Willy》（1993）創作的"Will You Be There"。他並且在2019年榮獲葛萊美理事獎，該獎項表彰他一生為音樂事業做出的卓越貢獻。

Every year, 61 species of shorebirds migrate across the East Asian-Australasian Flyway, pass by 22 countries. Researchers were able to study 14 of them, and found out at least 46 species of shorebirds were being hunted during migration, including some endangered species like spoon-billed sandpiper and great knot. These shorebirds will stop to rest at coastal and wetland areas. Besides hunting, they are also threatened by habitat loss due to coastal developments and pollution.
