A monumental thing happened in Taiji Cove yesterday, the first day of the dolphin hunting season for 2013-2014. Even though the fisherman successfully captured a pod of about 60 bottle nose dolphins ( still awaiting their fate ) , the Taiji Cove was over taken by Japanese protestors - a first in the history of the cove. While there is world wide protest many believe that if their is to be a change, it will from within Japan and the Japanese people. Most make the mistake of blaming all of Japan for this travesty, when in truth, many Japanese people are unaware this is happening and those who do, find it as repulsive as you or I do. Seeing this crack in the foundation was a remarkable sight. This gentleman actually went under the water to hear the cries of the captured dolphins- and began to weep as he surfaced- it was both touching and surreal. David Risley. Share this story, let your friends and family in Japan become aware what is going on. This will END this horrific trade. II believe Japan is filled with love for dolphins. With persistence - WE CAN stop this. It will not happen over night but it will happen. Lets support Japans people in their fight to change their government policies that allow this to happen. They need our help and the dolphins and whales need our help now more then ever. “Dolphins Leap” proceeds with different speeds to imitate spinner dolphins and risso's dolphins. “Used to be Home” portrayed the impact of offshore wind energy caused on white dolphin's habitat from their point of views. “Whale Family” is about humpback whales caring and raising babies. “White Forest” starts from the dreamy coral reef spawning into their bleaching due to seawater warming. Cicada's attempts are to describe the relationship between human and its impact on ocean and animals.
