Long post: self-reflection for myself

Just a decade ago, that was when I just qualified as a lawyer, 10 years passed in a blink of an eye 👁, I never would have imagined how life would be 10 years later. Safe to say, I’m happy with how it has turned out and how much I have gained on the way! 2019 has been a year of taking many big steps forward although we haven’t achieved really good results, I continue to remind myself, it’s about progress and conquering your fear that counts. I want to thank myself for being brave, for enduring the physical and emotional challenges silently within; I thank my husband and family for their support and understanding. There is frustration in my life that I don’t express on social media & I want you to know that everyone is going through a bit of their own struggles and u’re definitely not alone. In 2020, I will continue to strengthen my emotional intelligence, conquer impatience (my greatest weakness) and come out stronger 💪🏼 In a time of chaos, the more we need to not forget our ability to empathise & love. It’s easy to hate, but only love can conquer all. We have humanitarian crises worldwide - social unrest, increasing natural disasters (fire/flooding/storms) - I count myself blessed to have everything I need and the luxury of feeling safe. In 2020, we truly need to give up more to preserve this beautiful world we have been gifted with. I want to live a more Eco-friendly lifestyle. Starting by:
1️⃣ensuring all my bank statements are in electronic form
2️⃣cutting down unnecessary advertising mails
3️⃣using less paper (toilet/kitchen/work)
4️⃣reduce single use items replacing them with reusables
5️⃣being vigilant with creating waste/rubbish
6️⃣only buy what is necessary
7️⃣limit the use of plastic
8️⃣encouraging people around you to do the same.

2020, hoping to spread love & kindness, and awareness to an eco-friendly lifestyle. And as cliche as it sounds, truly wishing for world peace. Let’s step into a new decade game strong 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
