2020-08-21 19:01:01伊東で人気の家系ラーメン！静岡県伊東市の『吉田家』にメロンシートがお邪魔しました！JR川奈駅から車で5～6分ほどのところ。伊東で家系ラーメンが食べられるお店は恐らくここだけということで、お店は地元の家系ファンの方々でいつも賑わっています。赤い看板には《究極のラーメン》とあり、味への自信とプライドを感じます。実はこちらの店主は横浜の有名家系ラーメン店『六角家』で修行されたらしいとの話もあり、期待は高まります。吉田家の特徴はなんと言っても生キャベツ。新鮮なキャベツが入り、シャキシャキした食感が濃厚な豚骨スープにマッチしています！キレあるスープにモチモチの太麺がたまりません。そしてライスとライスに付いてくる漬物も美味しいと評判で、常連の方から教えて頂いた「醤油ちょいたらし」で頂きました！さあそれでは早速その模様を観ていきましょう！

Tonight, a popular Iekei-ramen in Ito! We visited "Yoshida-ya" in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture! The shop is about 5-6 minutes by car from JR Kawana Station. Probably the only place in Ito where you can eat Iekei-ramen is the shop, which is always crowded with local ieiri-ramen fans. The red sign says "Ultimate Ramen", which gives you confidence and pride in the taste. Actually, the owner of this shop seems to have been trained at the famous Iekei-ramen shop "Rokkakuya" in Yokohama, so expectations are growing. The characteristic of the Yoshida-ya is raw cabbage. Fresh cabbage is included and the crunchy texture matches the thick pork bone soup! Thick noodles do not collect in soup that has both sharpness and richness. And the rice and the pickles that came with the rice were also reputed to be delicious, and they were given the " a little Soy Sauce" taught by regulars. Now let's see the pattern!

A Humble and Teachable Heart
“Then Job answered Yahweh, “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained. You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ therefore I have uttered that which I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I didn’t know. You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.’ I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you. Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”” (Job 42:1-6 WEB)
People tend to speak carelessly as if they know everything, but a lot of what they say is based on assumptions and vain imaginations of the mind.
When God shows up to question you, you will realize that you know almost nothing.
Don’t utter so much nonsense until God has to appear and deflate that harmful pride.
“But if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he doesn’t yet know as he ought to know. But if anyone loves God, the same is known by him.” (1 Corinthians 8:2-3 WEB)
The truth is that we know so little—not even scraping the surface of God’s infinite wisdom.
There is still much more depth to what you think you know very well.
“At the end of twelve months he was walking in the royal palace of Babylon. The king spoke and said, Is not this great Babylon, which I have built for the royal dwelling place, by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty? While the word was in the king’s mouth, a voice came from the sky, saying, “O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: The kingdom has departed from you. You shall be driven from men; and your dwelling shall be with the animals of the field. You shall be made to eat grass as oxen. Seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.” This was fulfilled the same hour on Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from men, and ate grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the sky, until his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him, What are you doing? At the same time my understanding returned to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned to me; and my counselors and my lords sought to me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.” (Daniel 4:29-37 WEB)
When Nebuchadnezzar credited the glory of Babylon to his own might, the kingdom departed from him. Nebuchadnezzar became a madman, and lived in the field for seven years like an animal. His hair and nails grew long like a beast.
After that, the kingdom returned to him, and he was utterly humbled. He became a believer who gave praise and glory to Yahweh.
Glorify God and ask for His wisdom. Stay humble and teachable no matter what. Be slow to speak, and patient to listen. This way, you will avoid unnecessary hard falls and enjoy a blessed, fulfilling life. The wicked and foolish rush straight into destruction, but those who trust in the Lord are wise and they shall have many good days!

This restaurant has been on my radar for quite some time as it's reputed to serve good sang har mee. Jien and I made our way there the minute MCO was lifted to try their signature dishes.
I find the sang har mee quite good but it's really the dry fried kuay teow and beef hor fun that takes the cake. Super bomb man...the wok hei! 💥💥💥
