For the first time in 70 years, Jaguars again roam Argentina’s Iberá wetlands thanks to the rewilding efforts of the Argentinian government, Tompkins Conservation and Fundación Rewilding Argentina.

An adult jaguar and her two cubs born at the Jaguar Reintroduction Center were recently released into the wild, the first of nine individuals slated to repopulate the species in the Gran Iberá Park, a 1.7-million-acre protected area. This is a crucial step in ensuring the ecological health of South America’s principal water basins and reestablishing a biological corridor for Jaguars that once stretched continuously to the American Southwest.

ในช่วงที่ทำ Elimination diet ปรุงซอสอะไรไม่ได้เพราะมีถั่วเหลือง ก็เปลี่ยนเป็นปรุงด้วยเกลือ พริกไทย ผงเครื่องเทศต่างๆ แค่นี้รสชาติมันก็กินได้แล้วนะจริงๆ

แต่มีกินนอกเหนือจากนี้นะคะในระหว่างวัน มีผลไม้บ้าง อะโวคาโดบ้าง น้ำปั่นของตัวเองบ้าง Acai bowl บ้าง เติมสีสันให้ชีวิตหน่อย จะได้ไม่เบื่อ

ครบสามอาทิตย์ของ Elimination diet แล้ว เดี๋ยวจะเข้าสู่ Reintroduction phase คือกลับมาลองกินสิ่งที่คิดว่าน่าจะเป็นปัญหากับเรา อย่างแรกเลยว่าจะลอง Gluten เพราะคิดถึงขนมปังมาก🤣🤣🤣

Today is International #OrangutanDay. Orangutans are natural farmers of the rainforest. They travel great distances across the landscape, consuming and dispersing different seeds as they go. In the process, they help to maintain and grow the diversity of trees in the forest, a hugely important role for this large, flagship species so well known and loved around the world. For this reason, orangutans are also an important measure of the health of an ecosystem: if a forest has orangutans, it also means it is home to many, many other species of flora and fauna!

For the last 20 years, the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme, with support from national and international partners, has run vital field conservation initiatives, ranging from orangutan rescue, rehabilitation and reintroduction to the wild, biodiversity research and habitat protection. SOCP's work has resulted in tangible impacts for orangutans and their rainforest home, not least the establishment of the two new populations of reintroduced orangutans in Sumatra.
