Good afternoon, Teacher Ji Qian. Thank you for introducing High King Avalokiteśvara Sutra previously. Recently, I began the habit of reciting it more. Wherever I go, I would be reciting it and would recite it silently in the MRT. I find it easier to observe the precepts and my distracting and negative thoughts have greatly reduced.
My questions are:
1) Can reciting sutras or mantras reduce the negative impact on our luck pillars, annual or monthly luck?
2) Vesak Day is coming. What can we do on this day to accumulate more merits?
