你若是千禧世代或是更年長的人 (默默承認), 應該對瑪丹娜的冠軍單曲 Vouge 有些印象。這首九零年代舞曲帶動了 Vogueing 舞蹈風潮, 引起年輕人爭相仿效。當時天真以為這是瑪丹娜創立的獨特舞姿, 多數人也如此相信。直到最近幾年大家才發現, 這舞蹈源自於紐約黑人酷兒的次文化, 被白人「借用」之後大紅大紫。就好像當初搖滾樂也是白人借用黑人音樂元素而創造出來。總之, Vogueing 之所以獲得正視, 最大功臣是 Pose 這齣電視影集。

Pose 有幾大特色。第一: 少數族裔並非拿來襯托白人的綠葉。主要角色全都是有色人種, 訴說他們自己的故事。第二: 劇情聚焦八零年代紐約黑人與拉丁裔 LGBTQ 的生活種種, 以及他們因種族、性別、性向、階級等多重弱勢所需面對的難題。第三: 帶觀眾深入認識弱勢族群對流行文化的巨大貢獻。

好萊塢主流從未製作過這樣的影集, 劇情張力十足的 Pose 一推出即獲得很大迴響, 不僅收視率高, 更贏得不少大獎。好幾位沒沒無聞的跨性別演員變成大明星大麻豆, 努力獲得肯定。Pose 第三季, 也就是最後一季剛剛在有線電視頻道推出, 前兩季已經在 Netflix 好一段時間, 如果你想看點不一樣的劇, 不妨試試 Pose。
