Did a quick AB test (first impression) with moog bass track and drum room mic. The pultec reissue really offers more than the tube tech eq. Low end is thicker, bigger & punchier although the differences arent huge. The high shelf is the main differences, pultec one really tighten up the snare cracks and make it pops on my drum room material, really nice natural and open sound while the tube tech one doesnt offer the same thing, it doesnt tightened up the highs the pultec, it's pretty much has no extra artifacts besides the eq changes. Both units are great, pultec just offered some a bit more mojos on the table.
