Yes good job Adam… good control. He is able to control his emotions and contain his impulsive aggression better than before. If you have been following us from couple years ago you would know what I am talking about. Adam has improve a lot really. Whenever he has an attack, sensory over loading… the episodes and aggression used to be more intense. We would normally need to hold him down. We still have to do that occasionally but boy… it’s gotten so so much better. Nowadays I would just stand back, off course with watchful eyes, just incase if needed to intervene. I would give him time and the space to deal with himself. Now you know why we need sturdy heavy duty furnitures. Also when comes to home deco, our priority is his safety comes first, always keeping in mind to have a less hazardous surrounding. And off course his heavily EO infused diffuser pillow helps him to calm down. We also been playing more zikirs and surahs in the house. They really make a difference. As you watch the video and read the caption, try not to be overly judgmental and jump to any conclusion. We are merely sharing what works for us and not attempting to advise in anyway. Through our somewhat 20 years journey in raising Adam, we believe there are many variables involved in helping some one with Autism. After all it’s a wide spectrum. They are all different. What works for one may not work for another. Having said this however… Whatever protocols, applications, therapy, methods you believe in… love, patience and your faith are the absolute constant. Gotta have that. And with continuous consistent efforts over time, milestones can be achieved.
