生物多樣性國際日2020
International Day for Biological Diversity 2020
為左提高大眾保育意識，聯合國定落每年5月22號做「生物多樣性國際日」，今年特別提倡效法自然之道，鼓勵人抱緊希望，團結創造更加好嘅將來，而呢個日子都提醒緊我地世界本質上嘅美好同多元。26個種類嘅雀仔個個唔同樣，外表聲音習性各有特色，佢地嘅差異亦都組合成熱鬧嘅生態，因為世界本來就應該咁。
To raise the public awareness on conservation, the United Nations have designated 22nd of May as 'International Day for Biological Diversity', and this year's theme is 'our solution is in nature', emphasising hope, solidarity and the importance of working together to build a future of life in harmony with nature. This day is to remind us that the very nature of our world is good and diverse. 26 kinds of birds all look different, they are all unique, and it is this combination of uniqueness that makes Hong Kong and this world biologically diverse, as this world should be.

註❶〔𪜶爸〕(in-pēe/pē/pě)：自稱詞，即「他老爸我」，有蔑視他人、自大膨脹、怒氣攻心、開玩笑或戲謔的意味，因此常故意「弱化音變」為婉曲語〔m-mēe/mē/mě〕；近義詞〔恁(lín)爸〕。與官話「老子」、「老娘」這類自稱詞相似。
註❷〔斑鴿〕(pan-kah)：斑鳩，在臺灣一般特指【珠頸斑鳩】，體長約30公分（含尾長7公分）。偶爾會把〔大花斑〕(tuā-hue-pan)【金背鳩】和〔火鵻仔〕(hué-tsui-á)【紅鳩】也叫做〔pan-kah〕。亦常寫為同音之〔斑甲、班甲〕。
