This was one of the very first spots that really got me going “WOW” when Instagram first started all those years ago (I think this building opened around the same year Instagram launched but don’t quote me on this). Back in the day, geotags weren’t even that big a thing and it actually took time to figure out where it was (it’s incredibly easy now so I’ll leave that to you 😉). But as with most things on social media, there’s always the next newer/better place to chase after, so it became one of the many things filed away in the back of my head. Until that dreary afternoon in Tokyo, when I decided to hop onto the Waterfront Line and glumly plodded along in the rain (alone) just to see the building in person. We had rehearsals in the evening so I didn’t hang around until nightfall, but it was enough to remind me that you can make the things you want to happen, even if they take a long time 🌈 — #HYWoutofHK #HYWinJAPAN
