【#本地創作】「真理勝於一切？」——這是劇作《透明牆》提出的一個疑問。導演Franky Yau表示，作品的創作意念來自於意大利著名童書作家、「國際安徒生大獎」得主Gianni Rodari的繪本故事。她解釋，童話原著很直白簡單，但故事可以有很多重層次，於是她把作品放在香港社會裏，加入不同角色，「社會有太多猜忌，不信任，矛盾衝突。如果不只看表象，而是了解每個人的掙扎。如果不只看到表面是壞人，而是看穿其內心，或許能連結到每個人。」

她舉例，如一個老師，在謊言國中，教授學生「1+1=0」的知識，學生學不明白。「為何老師會照辦直教，他面對什麼壓力和內心掙扎？謊言國是設定，為何每個人都說謊？我們想探索這一點。」
