SORRY for not recording me doing my face makeup! i was LIVID when i glanced at the viewfinder and saw it wasn't recording but the other footage is completely fine so i decided to post anyways

lol i said this video was going to be colorful and then i ended up going for a neutral eye but i meannnn the lips make up for it right

i haven't been filming much because i've been going through some family things but i'm trying to bulk film now so don't give up on me if i skip a week! i promise i am working hard!

if the thumbnail looks different, it's bc i filmed and took pics on different days! the thumbnail pic was on a day when i used a self-tanner too but it's the same makeup look

We decided to try self drive in Bangkok this time round. The roads are narrower and the jam is bearable, so just got to drive slowly and watch out for bikes on the road.

The aim today is to explore On Nut, as we felt it is the up and coming food heaven (not far from city nor airport). One of the impressive stall we tried today is Khiang Aroy. 强哥 gets invited into the palace yearly to cook for the royalty and he is extremely proud of it with photos and plaques plastered on the wall (he is a teochew ah hia by the way).

Just how amazing he is? Well this guy fries pretty good Char Kway Teow. And he produces his own soy sauce to add into his cooking. There are two options: the stir fried CKT (dry version) and hor fun (wet version). I prefer the former with enough wok hei and eggy enough. The latter is a little different from our local zi char hor fun. They added fermented bean paste (dao cheou) into their hor fun and it's sweeter than SG version. They are serve suki - vermicelli in fermented bean curd soup.
