    10 days into 2021, there hasn't been a day that it didn't rain in Singapore.

    I don't know about you, but i personally think that the Universe has been so kind to us. We can't travel to other colder countries, and so she brought the cold weather to us. We get to dress up in Fall/Winter outfits that otherwise would be mouldy by the time we can travel again.

    I really love this weather. It's cooling and windy, it really calls for a nice, warm cuddle.

    I've always love the rain. There's something about the smell, and the soft pitter-patter of the rain hitting the ground that is so calming and relaxing. I'm completely embracing and enjoying it.

    Tien went jumping in puddles on our walk yesterday and had a blast. Needless to say I rushed him home for a warm shower once he was done 😅

    The rain these 2 days has given me a sense of calm I did not expect. Maybe it’s the pitter patter of the rain drops, or being able to snuggle my hot water bottle of a baby in the cool temperatures, or maybe it just feels like we all need this cleanse of what was 2020- a baptism of sorts.

    Either way, I’m holding on to a couple more slow days before Tien starts playgroup. I’m so anxious of how he will adapt- am preparing for a rough January though I really hope he will embrace it.
