As a diehard brunch addict, I can certainly attest that brunch isn’t just a meal, it’s a lifestyle. 😏If you need some brunch ideas for the weekend, I think @panxacocina in Long Beach is a good spot! 🥰They have amazingly delicious food and perfectly seasonal cocktails! 👍I love their Panxa Benedicto and Chicken N "Corn Bread" Waffles, with the New Mexican cuisine inspired that makes these cuisine taste so unique and flavorful💕! Now they have a new drink menu: The Kin for mezcal lovers who enjoy more of a smokey flavor, and the Smokey Maria is ideal for brunch sipping. Also, they serve brunch from Wed to Sun until 3 PM, that's a good choice for those who love brunch 7 days a week ;) 😉

在美國從感恩節開始一直到聖誕節,就是大家放懷吃喝和購物的時刻。SA有很多墨裔人口,所以在聖誕節時也有很多應景的墨式食物,玉米粽Tamale和炸脆餅Buñuelos正是其中之二。Tamale平時在超市或餐廳都能買到,只是在聖誕節時需求量大增,很多知名老店在節前都要加班趕工,應付大排長龍的顧客,每個顧客還只能限量購買!Buñuelos在平時比較少見,但在聖誕節前就會看到大量陳列了一包一包的產品。
Tamale跟我們的粽子很相似,只是用的是玉米葉(也有用香蕉葉),包入玉米製成的粉糰,和各式鹹甜的內餡及醬汁,再放入大鍋中蒸煮。Tamale的製作方式雖比粽子簡單,但備料所需要的時間也不少。Buñuelos和很多中式油炸點心也很類似,用的材料不外乎都是麵粉、蛋及糖等等,香香脆脆讓人很難抗拒,炸好的Buñuelos會趁熱撒上肉桂白砂糖,吃的時候還可以沾著用墨式糖磚Piloncillo煮成的糖漿,再配上一杯墨西哥熱巧克或是調配熱飲,正是冷冷冬天的最佳選擇。
