My morning started on the wrong side of the bed at 6:58am as one of my son’s school bus didn’t come, don’t ask me why only one son got on the bus and one had to walk a distance to another location to wait for another school bus. Anyway I had to reschedule all my morning meetings to drive one son to school which took me an hour to and fro !! I’m sharing here to let out some steam 😶‍🌫️ Motherhood - One needs to be able to accommodate and react instantly when things didn’t workout as planned. After all the crying, thank yous and photo taking, we eat 😊 3. With @broadwaybeng after we finished our last scene together and my last day of shoot on Fried Rice Paradise 2019 Singapore. I remember that it was a heartbreaking scene and beautifully performed by Sebastian. 4. Post show pic as Fan Yi Thunderstorm (2017). I think that this is the darkest character I’ve ever played. 5. At a screening for Alagwa, in the Philippines (2010/2011). I am wearing a vintage top from the 70s. I’ve worn it sooo many times and I still have it. Still love it so much.

The Michelin Bib Gourmand for Singapore 2021 has just been announced, and this prawn noodle restaurant at Killiney is one of the 12 new entrants. 🔸 They have prawn noodles in soup or dry version, and I remember an overwhelming majority of you voted for the soup version (cover pic) as your preferred choice of prawn noodles. But they have something different - wok-fried white beehoon (second photo). 🔸 This white beehoon was soaked in a reduced prawn stock, and you can imagine how umami this was with prawn stock reduced into this concentrated form. Yet it wasn't too salty, but was instead full of crustacean flavour. The prawns are first fried over high heat, so there's some wok hei in the plate.
