911事件二十週年—倫敦帝國戰爭博物館回顧集體共享之歷史餘波

＃911事件 已過去二十年，那一天發生的恐怖攻擊、對世界局勢的影響，至今仍未消散。＃倫敦帝國戰爭博物館（Imperial War Museum，簡稱IWM）在2021年9月10日推出「9／11：二十週年」（9/11: Twenty Years On）計畫，透過典藏展、特展、廣播節目和故事分享，探討恐怖攻擊對全球造成的創傷與衝突，反思事件的嚴重性如何影響過去二十年的世界動向。

隨著世界持續努力應對後911事件的衝擊，IWM發起「9／11：全球故事」（9/11: A Global Story）計畫，邀請大眾向館方訴說自己的故事，不論是親身經歷或事後影響，這些歷史時刻下的個人故事是博物館致力蒐集的重要文獻。館方同時在其廣播節目專題「利益衝突」（Conflict of Interest）增加特集，邀請倫敦國王學院國際激進主義與政治暴力研究中心舒拉茲・馬赫（Shiraz Maher）博士，以及小說《拉合爾茶館的陌生人》（The Reluctant Fundamentalist）作者莫欣．哈密（Mohsin Hamid），探討911事件在日後所引發的國際衝突。

展覽方面，IWM展出多件與911事件相關的文獻和典藏品，包括紐約世貿雙子星倒塌後的局部鋼結構、在伊拉克損壞的路虎戰場救護車等，邀請觀眾反思恐怖攻擊的緣由和意義。知名德國導演 ＃文溫德斯（Wim Wenders）的攝影特展「文・溫德斯：歸零地攝影」（Wim Wenders: Photographing Ground Zero）則為週年計畫的最大焦點。溫德斯在2001年11月親赴被摧毀的紐約世貿雙子星現場，五件巨幅攝影作品捕捉了大規模修復行動的樣貌。回顧他在紐約所目睹的一切，溫德斯說道：「我的相機見證了此地所發生，如地獄般恐怖的事件。請不要讓此地成為仇恨的根基，不要讓在這裡被奪走的生命成為更多流血的原因。」這批攝影作品呈現溫德斯見證911事件的個體經驗，同時也是所有人的集體記憶。

IWM當代衝突部門總監Louise Skidmore表示：「我們每個人都以不同的方式『見證』並『經歷』了911事件的餘震。我們希望透過這項計畫去鼓勵人們分享他們的故事，開啟一場關於此事件如何重塑生活的全球對話。」911事件的陰影確實未曾離去，IWM週年計畫不僅回溯歷史時刻，更幫助我們了解事件發生後的二十年，歷史時刻如何持續在全球迴盪。

Channelling Spring Court fae couture. A big THANK YOU to @anastasiabeverlyhills & @touchprandevents for sending over all the goodies for me to play with! In particular, the Norvina Pro Palette is GORGEOUS and so full of magickal colours. It also works beautifully as a lip accent. (see that little pop of lavender?) I'm still getting the hang of the famous ABH brow products (ya girl has only half her natural brows) but I'll get there eventually 😂

Also, how are we loving my GORGEOUS new headpiece and gown? Only possible bc of @missgdesigns @hellofaerie for the awesome noggin topper, @glimmerwood for the gown, and my trusty @diownbeauty for truly low maintenance lashes to match every look.

Launched in 1904, Hong Kong Tramways is one of the earliest forms of public transport in the metropolis and has witnessed the city’s development over the past century. The double-deck tram is affectionately called the “Ding Ding” by locals, the onomatopoeia of the iconic double bell ring of approaching carriages.

Among many transportation enthusiasts in the city, Joseph Cheng has spent the last 30 years indulging in his passion for trams – photographing them, publishing books about them, even establishing the Hong Kong Trams Culture Preservation Society. He calls himself a fanatic that sees trams as his life. Fe says half-jokingly, “I think my world will end if trams cease to exist one day. I may protest by lying on a tram track.”
