Sometimes I wish Singapore isn't so hot, so we can wear nicer clothes. I mean, it's hard to wear nice nice clothes and do layering when you’re out and about in the sweltering heat and humidity trying not to look and feel gross perspiring in the weirdest places lol. Is this why Singapore is not a fashion capital because our default style is singlet, shorts and slippers? Heehee. Perspiring in a different form today! My 5 day “break” begins, for clarity of mind and to enjoy little things more.

Pictures from Friday! It was solo parenting for the day because Alvin couldn’t apply leave. We started with fun at the playground at 8am followed by McDonald’s for breakfast. We also visited my parents, more playground fun before I took them home for their naps. Gave them their tea break after they woke up. When they were done, I took out the stroller and said we are heading out!! They accompanied me to the shopping mall for my spectacles fitting before we hopped onto 2 trains to meet Papa. While waiting for Papa to finish work, the children ran freely on the lawn at Raffles Place, had a go on the swing, people-watched and when they started to get a little too crazy for me, I took out the snacks! Snacks always work 😛 When Papa joined us, we took a walk together to the Merlion, it was the kids’ first time there! We were blessed with beautiful weather! The sun shone down fiercely and I was perspiring profusely everywhere! I couldn’t be bothered about how I looked anymore, I had my hair all tied up. But it was so much fun, just the 3 of us and seeing the smiles on their faces, I will do it again in a heartbeat!
