EQUIPMENT FOR HOME WORKOUTS - DUMBBELLS 🏋🏻♀️
got these during the first lockdown from @nutroone (bit of an impulse buy), but def a good decision in hindsight. I got 5kg, 7.5kg and 10kg - and sure I could’ve gotten heavier ones, but as we all know, space is precious in HK 😂
I felt like these weights are more versatile in a sense that they cover most of the exercises I do, and I’ll still feel sore the next day!
I also got a rack for easy storage 😁
just to give you guys an idea in case you’re looking to invest in a pair or two, I listed below some exercises that I’ll do with the weights I have 🔥
5kg (clips 1-3):
- bulgarian squats
- bicep curls
- double dumbbell swings
- not pictured: shoulder raises (lateral/front)
7.5kg (clips 4-6)
- overhead tricep extensions
- rear foot elevated single leg deadlift
- sumo stance rack squats
- not pictured: shoulder press / bent over row / upright row
10kg (clips 7-8)
- romanian deadlifts
- snatches
- not pictured: goblet squats / bench press
if I could get more - I would probably opt for a 3kg for some high rep work/to supplement my cardio workouts, but like I said...it’s been over a month of home workouts and I’m still dying after all my sessions 👌🏻🤣
