🔬什麼是科學植栽設計🧪?
日前駐英台限時動態轉發了James Hitchmough教授實驗田貼文，將近七成的人投票表示不懂什麼是科學植栽設計。今天來淺談一下這則貼文：
這是James Hitchmough教授在Chartsworth新設計/播種的自然式草甸(meadow)。種子被播撒到沙土上，再用草繩方格覆蓋，防止種子被澆灌或雨水沖走。
自然式植栽設計(Naturalistic planting)其最核心的內容就是向「自然」學習，James教授手裡的1/4平方米樣方是傳統的生態學野外調查工具。通過清點樣方內發芽種子的物種數與苗數，來評估該設計草甸群落的建立情況。
