Tbh this year has been really dramatic to me, just wanna let time wash the feelings away, this post is for me marking my annual milestone. 🎏 ✅ Best experience and life lesson through work and singing, just beyond grateful. ✅ Had an awesome rebound with @melvin.lo_ after reuniting in Taiwan, really appreciate his presence 🐼 ✅ Still have @fs7_jena @fs7_mel @whiteopposite @cavinfang at my side being my best cheerleaders even we’re all so busy after returning home, so grateful to have these friends 🥰 ✅ Enjoyed a lot of outdoor activities since coming back, hiking, diving, beach chilling etc ⛰🏖🤿 ✅ Got to rebound will all my bestie in the US after not seeing each other for 3 years, beyond happy that the bound never faded. @deanhyen @sickygal @hopechens @taylor_liao @pak_kelvin05 ✅ Temporarily overcome my nail biting habit by doing nail art, still failed but still worth mentioning. ✅ Knew my trauma and my boundaries through people I encountered in workplace. ✅ Got to design our family house and my own room, finally have more privacy in the house, modern and relaxing now x ✅ Got my full kit of diving lightware! Meaning wetsuit, mask, and fins. ✅Started swing dancing and heels dancing and met loads of awesome people. 💃🏻 ✅ Best NYE, got to party with friends and bf and boss while working?! What kind of job is this 🤣 ✅ 阿毛pasted, still heartbreaking just thinking of it, I miss him, but happy that he’s free now. ✅ Got my third tattoo, manta and me x ✅ Thanks for @zoedawnscott for introducing me to @thehope.co , ultimate church experience also allow me to rethink my perspectives of religion. ✅ Met @nong.taiwan , Yes this is a milestone for me just let me be (no regret now) 🌚 ✅ Adjusted dynamic and stuff for my relationship, wish the best for both of us. Love is complicated, still learning. ✅ Covid outbreak in tw allowed me to take a break and recharge after exhausting work amount, got to readjust and ready to go again! His gold is Hong Kong’s first medal in the sport, second-ever gold, and fourth Olympics medal in history. Cheung went down 1-4 early on in the contest, before rallying (重整) and taking five straight points to go up 6-4 and pulling away to 10-5. But the Italian fought back (反擊) to defend his Olympic crown, taking Cheung to 13-11. With a gold medal on the line (攸關), Cheung held his nerve (保持冷靜) taking the next two points to close out (結束) the final 15-11. Speaking immediately after the final, Cheung said he was finding it difficult to believe he had actually won gold. He said he hoped this has a positive impact on fencing in Hong Kong and shows that local fencers can win not only in Asia, but also on the world stage. Cheung, a former junior world champion, had already made history in his run to the final by becoming Hong Kong’s first fencer (劍擊手) to reach an Olympic semi-final (準決賽). To get there, the 24-year-old beat the top-seeded (頭號種子) Italian Alessio Foconi, 15-3, then followed that up with a thrilling (令人興奮的) come-from-behind (後來居上的) 15-14 victory (勝利) over ROC athlete Kirill Borodachev. Alexander Choupenitch was Cheung’s next victim – the Czech Republic fencer going down 15-10 in the semi-finals to guarantee (保證) that Hong Kong would be getting its first medal in Tokyo.
