Here is the diagram I took reference of on how to calculate maximum jumping height. Let me break it down for you

📌 Max height = Take-off + Flight + Reach - Loss Height
Take off height is measured by the center of mass and reach height is the distance from fingertips to the center of mass. Flight is the actual distance of center of mass elevation. Minus the mistiming factor (mistouch of a measuring device)
Sadly we cannot control anthropometric factors like how long the arms and how tall the body is. But we can improve the technique of how we jump and the timing of jump!
🔝 Sky is the limit if you can master the skills of proper jumping even tho it only accounts for 17% of total max jump

📌最高彈跳 = 質量中心高度+ 騰空高度 + 臂長 - 時機點差
質量中心高度是身體重心距離地面的高度,臀長是手指尖距離質量中心的長短。騰空高度跟肌力、協調性,跳躍技巧有關,而時機點差簡單說是跳躍到絕對最高點的誤差,舉例說像是失手沒摸到最高點,在專業的受測者會被預設為 0 %
🔝 我們或許無法改變身高跟臂展。以上4項唯一能控制的,只有騰空高度(Flight Height)。儘管只佔最高彈跳的17%,可是如果跳躍的技巧做對了,這可讓你跳得比職業籃球員更高
