【Hana Scone】 自問從來都不特別喜歡食scone，覺得很dry同太厚重好似食麵粉咁。這裡的scone是很多人都大推，所以就試下啦。 Hana scone 無花果鬆餅 $68 (無花果乾餡 配自家果醬及軟芝士) 口感外香脆內鬆化，不過乾，配自家果醬，入口添濕潤亦增添一份果甜香，但點都係麵粉感重，始終未能取悅到我。 Dark chocolate scone 70%黑朱古力鬆餅 $68 (配自家藍莓醬及軟芝士) 朱古力沒有想像中濃，發現點咖啡食最正，咖啡增加濕潤感之餘更帶出朱古力味，大家都可以試下🤣 Matcha espresso latte 只提供凍飲，抹茶突出帶回甘加上咖啡的底韻幾好飲(個人會想有熱的) 桂花荔枝白茶清中帶甘，桂花芳香，好好飲，比咖啡出色。 Best known for their excellent scone, have to give it a try even when I’m not a fan of it. Hana scone with dried figs is nice and crumbly, served warm with slightly crunchy crust, complemented with a sweet fruit jam and soft cheese. The dark chocolate flavor didn’t come through as prominently as expected in the chocolate scone, but highly recommend to dip into coffee as it adds moist and enhanced the chocolate flavor tremendously. Even though their scones are of good quality, it still doesn’t win me over or change my perception towards scone. 【Handmade Pasta】 在馬鞍山美食沙漠中的綠洲 值得到訪的小店 文青木系簡約小店，只有十多個座位，假日一開舖已經坐滿了，等了一小時，入座後限時75分鐘(食得很趕…所以都係建議平日到訪真正慢慢享受美食) 所有食物自家製作，主打手工意粉，非常高質很有heart的食店。 本地新鮮活蜆配番茄辣醬手工意粉$148 手工意粉口感特別爽彈，滿滿的活蜆，蜆肉帶海水鹹味非常新鮮，番茄醬帶辣勁配蜆肉特別夾，闊麵條掛汁一流。 傳統carbonara手工意粉 $98 沒有用忌廉，只用蛋芝士去做，要盡快食免得個汁變乾意粉變硬，芝士味頗濃好rich食落感覺有點膩，一定要同鹹香pancetta一齊食balance一下，粗圓條手工意粉彈牙有口感。 荷蘭pancake配自家火腿 $98 坐bar枱望住新鮮出爐，焗到超高大但瞬間即逝 幾秒間就塌下來了，pancake中間位置較厚身 ，有點像蛋餅，邊位沒想像中脆亦沒有太多牛油或蛋味，配料有自家製火腿(連火腿也自己做太神了!)微微鹹香配上蘋果肉桂醬同紅莓出奇地夾，甜甜鹹鹹好好味。 我們剛好在他們宣布暫停供應手工意粉前到訪，是多麼幸運🥺 要再食到手工意粉要等一會兒了… Oasis in the Ma On Shan food desert. Hidden gem tucked away in a quiet residential area, is a homely vintage style cafe/eatery serving quality handmade pasta and hearty food. Handmade pasta very al dente with extra bite to it that packaged pasta just couldn’t compare. Local fresh clams filled with salty seawater umami and a vibrant tomato sauce base with a hint of chili is such a delightful pasta dish. Traditional carbonara made with no added cream, just thickened with cheese and eggs, that’s the authentic Italian way. It’s very creamy and quite cheesy, the salty pancetta gives a much needed saltiness to cut through the richness. Dutch pancake came out of the oven so fully puffed up and smell incredible.
