彭博報導傳言 Lordstown Motors (RIDE) 把 Ohio 的廠房 Lordstown assembly 賣給了鴻海集團，漲 12%。
這家公司的主打原型車是電動車皮卡 Endurance，去年 IPO 之亂的時候炒過，最近剩下大概 1/3 股價。Lordstown assembly 是經典廠房，60 年代由通用汽車成立，在兩年前賣給了 Lordstown Mortors，用於生產旗下電動車，至今沒有貢獻營收。
廠房由鴻海買去的話可能就是用以布局美國的生產，劍指將來 Apple Car 的生產業務，而過程中則是透過 MIH 平台替電動車快樂夥伴新創們造車，如 Fisker、Lordstown 等來練功之類的。
其實投資了兩年特斯拉，一路上看到一堆鳥毛沒長齊就嗆聲的菜雞公司，從膨脹到衰亡。做出原型車很容易，要達到量產完全就是另外一件事。
