NO TALK 2 ME IM ANGY 💢 . Just learned that the reason for my recent engagements dropping isn’t because my content isn’t good enough, but because @instagram has been killing 🔪 🔪 my engagement ONLY because I am a business/creator account :) . For months, I started noticing that every time I use the sp*nsored word w/o using their stupid br*a*nd tag, they nerf your posts tremendously -___- This will happen to photos I posted for the following weeks and it’s been so disheartening. I put so much thought & work in every shoot I do :’’’))))))) . After switching to a business account, I’ve been getting a heavy amount of ads specifically to boost my posts, promoting my images with paid ads. See the patterns? I don’t even think they care if you’re a small business or a creator, if you don’t pay then your reach suffers. It’s been so frustrating as a sole creator, I literally do everything myself. . For the past year I’ve noticed only around 1/8 of my following can see my posts. I’ve always blamed myself and thought I just needed to work harder... but their intentions are becoming clearer. I’ve even had you guys reach out to me saying that they haven’t seen my posts for weeks and even MONTHS. Despite me posting almost Every Single Day. I’ve invested so much on this app for years. and for what?? . I’ve also found out that marketing researchers have done a full investigation on this and it’s 100% confirmed IG has been doing us creators all so dirty. After switching to a business account, there’s no turning back. . I’m stuck on this app since this has been my one of my main sources of income and everyone I know and love are here, there’s so much talented artists out there that need more recognition and they just. don’t care? I have to look up some of the people I follow just so I can see their posts. . This was a place where I could freely express my work since you’re all here, this is where I connect to all of you . in conclusion, let’s just all bring back blogger and livejournal culture pls i hate it here . if u wanna see more of my posts, u can turn on post notifications on the top right so you can see my posts firsthand next time!!
