[LISTENING] - 10 CÁCH CẢI THIỆN KỸ NĂNG NGHE TIẾNG ANH
#1- TEST LEVEL HIỆN TẠI
Bạn có thể test level nghe của mình qua website:
https://www.examenglish.com/leveltest/listening_level_test.htm --> Sau khi làm xong 15 câu web sẽ cho mình biết level nghe của mình đang ở khoảng nào, nhưng web lại không cho mình biết câu đúng/sai.
https://www.oxfordonlineenglish.com/english-level-test/listening --> Tổng 24 câu + web cho mình biết câu nào đúng/sai kèm giải thích.

#2- CHỌN TÀI LIỆU PHÙ HỢP LEVEL
Bạn vào trang https://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/skills/listening --> Click vào level phù hợp --> Trong đó sẽ có các bài nghe phù hợp (kèm file nghe + transcript + phần bài tập có link tải PDF)

Với các bạn luyện nghe theo phương pháp chép chính tả, bạn có thể tham khảo trang này: https://listenaminute.com/ --> mỗi bài nghe khoảng 1 phút, nghe sẽ đỡ nản, nhất là đối với các bạn mới bắt đầu.

#3- PHÂN TÍCH TRANSCRIPT + RÚT TỪ
Huyền chia từ mới thành 2 loại (xanh + vàng như Huyền trình bày trong video trên) để giới hạn số lượng từ học theo khả năng của mình.

#4- PHÁT ÂM
Với những bạn chưa vững phát âm cơ bản, bạn hãy dành thời gian học lại phát âm IPA nhé.

#5- NỐI ÂM
- Khi nghe có những từ/cụm từ mình biết nhưng người bản xứ đọc nối âm nên mình bị "đứng hình", mỗi khi gặp cụm từ như vậy mình hãy ghi chú lại để hôm sau gặp lại mình sẽ phản xạ tốt hơn nhé.
- Ví dụ: bạn xem trong video ở đầu post nhé.

#6- FILLER WORDS
Filler words được sử dụng rất nhiều trong giao tiếp. Một số filler words phổ biến như: well, you know, like, ... --> Nếu mình không biết khi nào chúng được dùng như filler words --> mình sẽ dịch, ví dụ dịch like = thích là xem như không hiểu gì luôn ^^

#7- CONTRACTIONS
Mình nên chuẩn bị các contractions phổ biến nhé:
He will = He'll, They are = They're ... --> Phải làm quen để mình tăng phản xạ (mình không được mong đợi người ta sẽ nói từng từ).

#8- KEYWORDS
Không nghe được từng từ --> không sao cả!
Mục tiêu của mình là nghe được từ khóa - từ/cụm từ quan trọng nhất thể hiện được ý nghĩa cơ bản của câu.

#9- BẢNG KIỂM TRA TIẾN ĐỘ
Hãy thể thiết kế 1 bảng kiểm tra tiến độ nghe cho riêng mình để mình biết được trình nghe của mình sau 1 tháng lên bao nhiêu hay chững là do đâu.

{Recipe} Easy Tomato Curry Mackerel 🍅 Do you know you can transform laksa into curry?

By combining @newmoonsg Jack Mackerel in Tomato Sauce, Laksa paste and a few other ingredients, you can actually get a pot of hearty spicy curry-like stew in less than 20min! Taste very shiok and perfect to go with @newmoonsg Thai Hom Mali Rice

Ingredients (Serves 6)
1 Tb New Moon Premium Grade Canola Oil
4 red onion, sliced
3 lady fingers, cut to chunks
2 tomatoes 🍅 , cut to chunks
1 New Moon Jack Mackerel in Tomato Sauce
1 New Moon Laksa Paste
150ml low fat milk (feel free to use coconut milk)
150ml water
2 small lime (optional)

Method:
1) In a pot or saucepan, heat up oil.
2) Sauté red onions, followed by lady fingers and tomatoes.
3) Add in jack mackerel, laksa paste, milk and water
4) Stir evenly and bring to boil. Lower heat to simmer for 15min. You can adjust the consistency of the sauce according to your preference. This version is quite thick
5) (Optional) Squeeze two limes before serving. The acidity helps to cut the richness and any fishy flavor.
