I continue to be amazed by my D’Varomas! We pooled our Junior Chefs in our first DVA KIDS CEO PROGRAMME where they get to earn extra pocket money by making Bubur Ayam ala McD and boy were they excited! In total, we had over 20 children who participated with over 450 orders between them! They were knackered, parents were knackered (they offered FREE DELIVERY but guess who were their FREE DRIVERS? 😜) but we all had so much fun and rasa puas hati that a Sunday was put to good use. I had orders for a refugee home and today, we send 100 more to an NGO for vulnerable children. Good job @dvaromastm6 My Thermomix business is growing beyond just selling this Smart all-in-1-kitchen. 🎶 Έλα να νιώσεις πώς είν' η ζωή κι όλα τα ωραία μέχρι το πρωί. 🎶 Hello Greece! One thing Sirhan and I have in common is that we love to travel. Who doesn’t right? But it’s the way we like to travel is what makes us two peas in a pod. Sirhan and I often share our travelling stories and realise that we both enjoy taking the more unusual routes that often leads us to exciting hidden discoveries. In our research of places to go on a short break, one of the countries that attracted our attention the most was Greece seeing that we both hadn’t been there and there was amazing flight deals to be grabbed. With extensive research, googling and reading, we settled on Athens as our next travel destination seeing that both of us love history and what better city to visit than the birth place of democracy and being the centre of the arts, philosophy and learning. The flight took 6 hours roughly and upon landing and upon collecting our baggage, we headed straight for the train station that was connected to the airport. The hotel we chose was smack in the middle of town and with what we found on the net, Greece has excellent public transportation which we fully utilised by purchasing a 3 day all inclusive bus/train/tram travel pass. The train from the airport took us straight to Syntagma Square station and along the way we got to see the beautiful landscape of Greece that is mostly covered with low mountains, shrubs and olive trees. We knew we were reaching the centre of town once we began to go underground and soon we reached our stop which luckily had each station written in English below its Greek writing. We walked a bit more to our hotel and took in the sights and sounds of Athens as it’s occupants went about their busy daily lives following the guidance of the ever so helpful Google maps app. Our charming hotel was located off of the cobbled main road and was nestled in between other restaurants and hotels and was everything we had expected and more. So we’ve been in lockdown since 1st June. And from tmrw onwards it will be stricter in certain areas(where I live). There will be endless roadblocks, some areas will hv barbed wires to prevent residents from leaving. This is overwhelming. : Quick dash to a nearby supermarket & @guardianmy. I did not film much in the supermarket bcos I wanted it to be quick out of respect to others in the queue. Hang in there fellow PKPD-folks. Stay home. Stay focused.
