My birthday month is #NationalPizzaMonth 🍕♎️🎉 I tried 26 slices from 10 shops during my last trip in NYC as part of a video I’m working on, and @mamas_too came out on top for my favorite overall slice joint 🏆

Their squares have that incredible crispy cheese crust and unique toppings (cacio e pepe or pear & Gorgonzola anyone?) that are all delicious, and the round slice has the puffiest, crispy-on-the-outside crust and a mouthwatering combo of tangy sauce, smoked mozz, Parmigiano & fresh basil 🌿💯

What I learned in all this research is that we need to learn the difference between the “best in NYC” and “the best I’ve ever had,” because taste is soo subjective. If a thin pepperoni slice is your favorite or you don’t like charred crust then you won’t agree with my verdict. But if everything I’ve said jives with your tastebuds, then definitely make the trek up to the UWS for the best pizza I’ve had in NYC👌🏽 #IndulgentEatsNYC @ Mama's Too
