Have been to so many places that I never got around to posting so finally organizing them into a few round-ups for your guys. This is my first round-up of spots in Taipei—all places are tagged in the photos. More coming soon! 1: Tart Taipei The tarts are pretty good—I had the fig ricotta and the salted egg—but the service here was a little strange. There was only one person sitting in at the time I stopped by but the girl at the door told me there was no room for me to sit in and I had to get my order to go. 🧐 I just wanted to try the tarts so it was fine for me but if you want to sit in, I’d suggest making a reservation. 2: 青田茶館 Have been a few times and really love the small courtyard and the quiet ambience here. 3: Season Patisserie A trusty and dependable favorite. Love everything from the creative savory dishes to the well made desserts to the beverage options. 4: 貓咪曬月亮 Cute space and cute, affordable basics. Catered toward the younger crowd with the low price points but two of the tops I got have held up very well through many, many washes. 5: 藝風巷 Nice place to get some work done. Quite spacious but still felt cozy and quiet. 6: Jinfu Coffee Understated with an industrial feel and nice coffee/desserts. 7: 朵常花藝 HIDE DAILY Cute little flower shop with a friendly staff. The workshops they have look pretty fun and I would like to try one of the classes once things return to normal. 8: 圓山大飯店 Honestly came here because we were super bored one day and wanted to take advantage of the nice weather and do some exploring. This hotel is pretty iconic but also pretty dated so I was hesitant to try out their lobby cafe but wow the pomelo napoleon dessert we got was so damn good! It was also huge but so flaky and not too sweet—a very pleasant surprise. 9: Chou Chou Pretty nice overall although nothing spectacular. We went for the 5-course lunch and I liked the fish entrée and the oolong soufflé dessert. Normally not a huge fan of soufflé but I did enjoy this one. 10: Kikumo Coffee Small, simple, and sweet. Very friendly owner and nice coffee and sweet treats. #台北美食 #台北咖啡廳
