When I was 8 years old, one time I was very angry & I picked up my alarm clock beside my bed & slammed it onto the floor. It was a cute clock in the shape of an egg & it was given by my beloved favorite dad. That throw didn’t break the clock, but it put an obvious crack on the side. No matter how hard I tried, the crack was irreparable. That was my first time experiencing how nasty & awful the feeling of regret is. From that time on, not only did I promised myself not to damage anything when I’m angry, I’ve also told myself I have to try my best to avoid any chances of feeling regret in the future whenever I make any decisions.
