【史上首次：美國民意過半支持台灣議題】​

美國智庫芝加哥全球事務委員會（Chicago Council on Global Affairs）剛發布的年度調查指出：史上首次，美國民意超過半數支持「當中國出兵侵略的時候，美國協防台灣」。​
​
這個問題自1982年開始調查以來 #首度獲得美國民眾超過半數的支持。更值一提的是，今年也是歷年支持幅度最大的一次，相比去年的41%增加了十一個百分點。​

在這份調查當中，有69%的美國民眾表示台灣是一個獨立的國家，65%支持台灣參與國際組織，57%支持簽訂台美雙邊貿易協定，53%支持台美之間簽署正式的防禦條約，52%受訪者表示，在中國入侵台灣的情況下，支持出動美國軍隊來協防台灣。​

報告指出，美國人對中國觀感的負向改變快速增加，這也是讓民眾轉變對台灣看法的重要原因（過去四個月以來，支持協防台灣的美國民意大增12%）。​
​
#習總加速師真不是蓋的​
​
超過五成民意支持出兵協防台灣，這對比其他區域外交政策來說，已經是非常高的比例。如果和同一家智庫針對其他國家所做的調查也可發現，美國民意已經將台灣和其他重要美國盟友放在同等地位上了。​
​
例如在今年3月所做的幾項民調中，57%美國民眾支持繼續在日本駐軍，53%支持當北韓攻打南韓時出兵保衛南韓，53%支持美國在以色列受鄰國攻擊時保衛以色列。​

另外針對美日韓的三國民調，三國都有超過5成民意認為中國的軍事力量是重大威脅，8成左右認為中國是安全威脅。日韓也都有7成民意認為美國在亞太區域的部署有助提升區域穩定。​

對中反感情緒也不是台灣或日韓的專利，而幾乎是全球共同的現象。根據今年六月皮尤研究中心針對全球17個主要經濟體所做的民調，有15個國家對中反感比例超過5成，美國和南韓都超過七成，日本更是全球最高的88%。​

▍短評１：從各方面的觀察來看，台灣議題似乎已經變成一個道德議題了，常常會跟「獨裁中國」相對照，再加上這陣子以來台灣在公衛、供應鏈等各方面議題的曝光，讓愈來愈多一般民眾注意到台灣。​
​
▍短評２：兩黨支持者之間對台灣議題的看法雖然大致相同，但在一些關鍵議題上仍有差異。在軍售問題上共和黨向來比較支持，而民主黨支持者可能認為軍售是圖利軍火商。民調中也看得出來支持軍售的比例，共和黨的55%明顯比比民主黨的46%高。但支持出兵的比例，共和黨的50%則和民主黨的48%差不多。​
​
其實，無論共和或民主兩黨的黨內，都有介入派（interventionist）和孤立派（isolationist）兩類的外交政策辯論，我們仍然要觀察這些辯論的走向。​
​
▍短評３：接下來我們要做的事情是想辦法讓一般美國民眾、以及媒體相關從業人員對台灣認識再深化。​

美國民意對於外交政策的影響並不直接，且民意本身也會隨著資訊更新而不斷變化。但是，一個國家的整體形象是各種政策以及官方與民間交流所呈現出的綜合成果。​

官方與民間之間實質上的文化與經濟交流，正是讓美國政界與民間了解台灣與美國共同價值與合作機會的最好廣告。只要美台之間的交流可以繼續，台灣在美國人心目中的印象，只會越來越好。最重要的是，這些美國民間的好感，都很有機會直接或間接地轉化成為美國政界對台灣的支持，讓兩國之間的關係更為緊密連結。​

That’s why he is Michael Jordan. But certainly his results are not entirely because of his coach right? If he doesn’t show up, train the hardest & apply everything that his coach have given to him, you wouldn’t have seen him in the Hall of Fame in the NBA history - It’s MUTUAL COMMITMENT.

So the question is: “Does everyone NEED coaching?” Certainly not everybody needs coaching, it’s only for high performers who WANT coaching that’s what makes the whole difference in their RESULTS for their lives. If you know you can do better & you are not satisfied in your current life situations and you are fully committed & ready for TRANSFORMATION, then coaching is the right thing for you.
