I have been pondering these past few months, but could not find an answer or a future,” read one page of the notebook belonging to late protester Marco Leung. “Today’s choice is my own, but it was caused by the government.” Another page read: “Fully withdraw the extradition bill and release the wounded students. We are not rioting. Carrie Lam must resign.”

    庭上透露，梁的遺物中有一本記事簿，內裡有手寫文字「我對呢個香港已心灰意冷」、「呢幾個月不斷沉思 都找不出答案和將來」、「今日我是個人意願 唯獨是政府促成」。另一頁則寫道：「全面撤回送中」、「釋放學生傷者」、「我們不是暴動 林鄭下台」。
