Do you remember when Jessica Sanchez lost to Phillip Phillips in American Idol, and then had to find a job as someone's maid, and all her supporters were like, "You're still #1 Idol in our hearts..." Well, I don't think she woulda found that very consoling.
I bet that's what Lee Chong Wei feels right now, when people are like, "In our hearts, you're still the winner..." OH PUHLEEZE!!! How ingratiating.
The thing is, he is a great athlete who got to represent his country, and he's won several silver medals. So why are people being so condescending, like winning silver at the Olympics is not good enough?
