I’m not even squidding when I say @paztahongkong is INKredible! Located in Tai Kwun, Pazta does all kinds of fresh pasta. The restaurant has an al fresco dining area with a view of the open courtyard as well as indoor dining. Thank you @knowherebangsar for having us over for lunch last weekend! 😍 Fuuhhhhh - we had a hard time digesting after devouring 10 mains from 12-3PM! Nevertheless, we are so happy to have tasted Cita Rasa Gemilang - Knowhere’s specially-curated Merdeka menu which houses 14 items representing Malaysia’s 14 different states. Knowhere Bangsar has always been known as a bar *obviously*, just look at their blanket of stars on the ceiling and that whole cosmic space vibe you get from the place - but you may be surprised at how this bar/eatery actually serves up pretty interesting crafted dishes. We have yet to try their normal menu nor dine here before. Reviews written below are based only on our one-time visit, hence please keep that in mind and decide for yourself when visiting this place. ⭐️Pizza Tempeh Teratai (Malaysia) Dehydrated hibiscus, tempeh & baked lotus root on a sambal tomato base Pizza. The dry hibiscus gives off a cranberry-like flavour and the tempeh tastes like a less-sour-ish cube cheese here, and you are able to get that crunch from eating the lotus root. Didn’t quite understand the synergy of these flavours, but after eating a few slices, that unfamiliar taste may entice you to reach for more than one *Biased opinion - I love pizzas with lots of cheese so this is a winning factor. ⭐️Bambootiful Char Siew (Selangor) Bamboo steamed butter rice served with roasted BBQ Char Siew Chicken. the texture of butter rice was so good and very fragrant :) ⭐️Chicken Lomak Podeh (Negeri Sembilan) Tender roasted chicken leg cooked in masak lemak cili api broth - super big whole chicken leg marinated with different spices, you will get your spicy kick from this. ⭐️Heaven Mee Kolok (Sarawak) Love this toasted soy sauce angel hair pasta. To my muslim friends, if you are wondering how Kuching’s famous Kolo Mee tastes like, you will need to try this to get the same punch I have experienced back in Kuching :P ⭐️Tuaran Grilled Calamari (Sabah) Tuaran Noodles -the gold noodles of Sabah! Love this! 😍 ⭐️Inkredible Laksa (Johor) Squid ink spaghetti cooked in a delicious laksa broth - Just visualise how is it like eating dry laksa pasta! [Part 1]

To celebrate the independence of Malaysia this year, @knowherebangsar has come up with a brilliant CITA RASA GEMILANG spread that features iconic dishes from each of the country’s state which include appetisers, main courses, drinks and desserts.
