Can you handle the hilarious cuteness?

Big thanks to my confinement nanny Aunty Wendy from @pemconfinementnanny. She's been a tremendous help the last 6 weeks. In a blink of an eye, it's time to say goodbye 😭. I've been dreading this the last week. With her help, Layla managed to sleep a good stretch of 6hrs almost every night. 8pm-2am, 230am-530am, 530am-8am. With her not sleeping in the day, night is the only time i get to rest. So I'm really grateful that i at least have the nights. I know some mothers really struggle both day and night. So i really can't complain!

Today, being her last day, i was squeezing in lots of last min questions. And this thing she said really enlightened me, she said, "So many mothers are worried about carrying their baby, worried that it'll become a habit. But the truth is, once they can start crawling and walking, they wouldn't wanna be carried anymore!"

It's so true. Since Layla came along, I've been spending so much time worrying abt this and that. Worrying about the future = anxiety. I had forgotten to live in the present and just enjoy my baby. It's really not easy tho, when such a vulnerable, cute, little human solely depends on me to stay alive. I know what you guys r gonna say, that babies are a lot more adaptable and resilient than we think they are. I know i know... i just need to practise it instead of just knowing it.

Thank you Aunty for leaving me with such wise words before u leave. I will miss you, especially when Layla is screaming hysterically! Haha! Thank u so much @pemconfinementnanny for bringing Aunty Wendy to me.
