在美國看小兒科真的要脫光光🤭

在美國辦入學學校都必須附上小兒科的就診紀錄，因為疫情關係J 已經快兩年沒回去給醫生看，一直被學校催~催~催~
半年前就預約好年度例行檢查，護士會先測量基本身高體重、脈搏呼吸、視力與聽力檢查等，之後才輪到醫生上陣；
美國的醫療制度跟台灣很不同，這裡每個人都有自己的醫生（要自己去找就是了，這個是最麻煩的地方）而18歲以內都算小兒科，也就是正常情況下小孩從出生到18歲都是看同一位醫生，除非病情需要小兒科醫生才會引薦另外的專科醫生看診；
當瑪麗醫生進來診間看診時, 她要J 彎下腰，
J 就邊做動作邊問醫生：are you checking Scoliosis?
醫生被他的用詞嚇到，笑著說 how do you know?
What do you want to be when you grow up?

這小子也很搞笑，竟然回醫生說： I watched Good doctor so I know what you are doing. Maybe join Seal team when I grow up. (他說我有看美國影集“好醫生”所以我知道妳在做什麼。說他以後長大想要加入海豹部隊...）

但是最讓我崩潰的是，你們知道他過去一年體重增加多少嗎？

11公斤啊！！天啊~~這根本是懷孕來著😭😭😏

▎有孩子的朋友們，你們這三週過得還好嗎？

今天整整是停課的第三週了，每天是不是覺得都特別長呢？一天被喊了幾次爸爸/媽媽呢！二十四小時的相處，雖然有時候讓人真的很煩躁，當孩子晚上終於去睡覺，你是不是又跟我一樣想去偷偷的看他幾眼呢？或是偷親他一下。

有人說，有了孩子，是讓我們重新回憶一次自己的成長過程，原本的我，也想帥氣的當個頂客族，但當有了孩子之後，又覺得有種完整了自己的感受。我還記得魏騫幾個月的時候第一次發燒，半夜哭得不停，我把他抱在手上不知所措，第一次有著「為他心痛」的感覺，那真的很強烈，我才真知道，這小子是我兒子。

這是我寫給魏騫的歌，不管他懂不懂或喜不喜歡，是爸爸的專輯裡給他的小小禮物。

05 魏騫的歌
魏騫是我七歲的兒子，現在小學一年級，基本上長得跟我一樣。

魏騫四個月的時候，有一天他躺在床上，自己拔掉了奶嘴，我發現他自得其樂的在唱歌，大概是這樣的持續反覆：「ㄟ..ㄟ.. ㄟㄟ」。我隨即拿起手機錄了下來，看了好多次覺得很有趣，這麼小的嬰兒竟然可以反覆同樣的拍子，所以這首曲子的前奏就是這樣來的。這孩子天生是個精力旺盛的頑皮精靈，但那張總是帶著笑容的臉，讓他一切的搞怪都被解釋成可愛了。雖然有時候還是會被媽媽罵的狗血淋頭加罰站，但爸爸打從心裡認為你是天使下凡來我們家的，這首曲子是我在這張專輯裡送給兒子的一個小小禮物。

05 A Song for Chien
Wei Chien, my seven-year-old son, is a first grader who looks exactly like me. When Chien was at four months, I once found him lying on his bed, pacifier off, humming a rhythm roughly sounding like: “erh ... erh … erh-erh …” I recorded it on my phone and watched it several times, utterly amused that a tiny baby managed to repeat that beat. It is how the opening of this song came about. A little menace born with tons of energy, Chien can effortlessly turn his mischief into cuteness with his bright smile. Though occasionally on the receiving end of mom’s scolding and punishments, in dad’s heart Chien is always an angel sent from heaven. Let this song be my little gift to my dear son.
